A contestant on the Greek version of Survivor is taking legal action against the show's producers after a tragic accident on set.
Stavros Floros, who appeared on Survivor Greece, is seeking more than $100 million in damages.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the incident occurred on May 11, 2026, while Floros was spearfishing for food.
A tour boat propeller struck him, resulting in his left leg being severed above the knee.
Alleged Safety Failures
Floros claims the show's format required contestants to spearfish in open waters that were heavily trafficked by tourist boats.
He alleges there were no safety boats, protected zones, or adequate warning markers in the area.
The lawsuit also mentions prior close calls and even a death in the same waters, highlighting a pattern of negligence.
Floros said his leg was lost in the ocean, and only a tourniquet applied by a stranger aboard the offending tourist boat kept him alive.
He was transported to a Miami hospital, where he underwent multiple surgeries during a 61-day hospitalization.
The reality star is now seeking over $100 million in damages for the incident on set.
